Strategic Insight
Our client’s customers needed a more efficient global compliance process to simplify complexities and meet their deadlines. It wanted to provide technology that not only allowed its customers to meet new SEC deadlines, but to grow and satisfy its customer base at the same time by offering new intuitive features and a greater capability to meet demand.
To do this, we needed to build software from scratch that was performant, reliable, scalable, and easy to use and maintain.
Microservices and Azure Form a Cloud-Native Solution Foundation
Our client needed a platform that would allow its customers to easily report financial fund information in a simple and intuitive way.
We designed and built a secure cloud-native platform that exceeded expectations from day one and allowed our client to easily deploy new features as future needs evolved. We integrated directly with client development, product, and IT teams in a sprint-based Scrum delivery process structured to require our own accountability while working in a collaborative manner.
After driving a discovery phase to establish the direction of the project, we deployed a cloud-native solution on Microsoft Azure, leveraging microservice architecture in conjunction with several Azure services, including App Services, SQL, Blobs, Queues, Logic Apps, Functions, Active Directory, App Insights, VSTS CI/CD pipelines, and Key Vault. To optimize the front-end, we undertook an Angular UI redesign to make the interface more intuitive.
The result was a simple, user-friendly interface. The architecture is scalable, able to withstand an increase in data as our client’s business grows.

Customers can now generate and file two crucial forms, N-PORT and N-CEN, quickly and simply. The platform helps customers stay compliant over time, rapidly responding to evolving SEC requirements. It also dramatically reduces the time and manpower required from the customer to perform monthly compliance tasks.
